Wichita, Kan. β Toni Libhart, an active performer and recently retired educator will be performing a free recital Friday, Jan. 21, 2022 at 7:30 p.m.
Libhart returns to the ΒιΆΉΝψ stage after serving students for over 30 years in the Fine Arts department as the Assistant Professor of Music and percussion teacher.
The concert will feature a variety of types of music including sacred choral and hymn arrangements. Libhart will be performing the recital solely with mallet percussion instruments, namely the marimba and vibraphone.
Judy Chadwick will be accompanying on piano.
βThe final movement of this concerto is aptly named βFarewellβ as this is my farewell retirement recital,” said Libhart.
The performance will take place in Alumni Auditorium in the Davis Administration Building on the ΒιΆΉΝψ campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan., The concert is free but tickets are required at or by calling the Fine Arts Box Office at 316-295-5677.
