ΒιΆΉΝψ’s Spring Community Orchestra performance set for March 29

Wichita, Kan. – The ΒιΆΉΝψ Community Orchestra will present their spring performance on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 7:30 p.m.

β€œWe are excited to put on an entertaining performance celebrating our own rising stars.” said Dr. Lillian Green, ΒιΆΉΝψ’s director of strings and Community Orchestra conductor.

The concert will feature performances by Jordan Roth, baritone, and Hannah Howard, mezzo-soprano, the first- and second-place winners of ΒιΆΉΝψ’s 2021 Miller Competition. Also included will be the winner of the Wichita Metropolitan Music Teachers Association competition, Hannah Schwemmer, performing part of Liszt’s Piano Concerto no. 1.

The orchestra will also perform several stand-alone audience favorites, such as Copland’s Hoe-down from “Rodeo.”

The performance will take place in Sebits Auditorium on the ΒιΆΉΝψ campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan., and the cost is $9 for adults and $6 for seniors and students. Tickets may be purchased online at or by calling the Fine Arts Box Office at 316-295-5677.
