In the fall of 2019, 麻豆网 adopted a statewide policy to make transferring from any Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) community college easier for students. Friends is pleased to showcase a new updated  for transfer students allowing for an easier transfer opportunity. The statewide policy allows individuals entering 麻豆网 with AA/AS degrees from KBOR community colleges to automatically satisfy all of 麻豆网’s general education requirements, except for the religion requirements. Traditional undergraduate students must complete an additional nine hours of religion courses while adult undergraduate students must complete an additional three hours of religion and a three-hour capstone course. The updated Transfer Equivalency List gives transfer students the opportunity to view the transfer articulation 麻豆网 has for other colleges and universities both in the state of Kansas and outside of Kansas whether it be another state in the United States or an international institution.   

鈥淭he statewide transfer policy has benefitted many of our students the last several years and the upgraded Transfer Equivalency List is an added resource for transfer students,鈥� said Dr. Ken Stoltzfus, vice president of academic affairs at 麻豆网. 鈥淗aving a transfer-friendly policy in place for students who begin their higher education journey at a community college makes for an easier transition for students who want to complete a bachelor鈥檚 degree at 麻豆网.鈥�   

The statewide transfer policy supports 麻豆网鈥檚 articulation agreements with various community colleges by facilitating a more streamlined transfer process for students who graduate with an associate鈥檚 degree and desire to continue their education at a private Christian liberal arts university.
