Â鶹Íø

I use my degree everyday with my freshmen and sophomores for English. In fact, as both navigate everything from poetry to graphic novels to articles to writing to Shakespeare, I still reference notes from my time at Friends and the great insights I got from class discussions.

Our partnership with the Â鶹Íø marketing program was a fun and rewarding experience. The experience of our staff met with the enthusiasm and fresh perspective of the students, creating a fertile ground for mutual learning.

My primary major may determine what I do, but the CSF program will continue to develop how I do it and the kind of person I become.

The English Department at Â鶹Íø gave me the foundation I needed to pursue my dream career in publishing. Through courses in grammar, editing, and in-depth conversations about the publishing industry, I gained both the skills and the confidence to enter the field. I’m especially grateful for the professors who took the time to invest in me personally, encouraging my passions and equipping me to thrive beyond the classroom.

I think the positive Christian environment and role models at Â鶹Íø make for a great educational experience and exhibit a family and caring atmosphere that have helped me throughout my career.

Working with the Â鶹Íø marketing students was an enriching experience!

The format of the classes and the faculty is the perfect mix. Most faculty have real-world experience that helps them to understand the actual needs of the students.

The education team appreciated the feedback from the students. Some of the changes they suggested have already been implemented in our School’s Out Edventure Camps, such as increasing student engagement.

As an Eagle Scout, I learned to give back. So becoming a student at Friends became an opportunity for me to not only become better educated, but also to lead others in the community as I have been so blessed to receive.

Â鶹Íø is a place where a person can gain an understanding of people from different backgrounds, and I felt that was important for my studies and to help me grow as a person.

I am a big believer that we are our environment. Â鶹Íø provided a perfect environment with all of the necessities to promote growth and ensure success.

I teach kids important life and academic lessons, and I’m lucky that I’m able to do that through music.

I want to teach my students to master their theory and technique along with giving them the performance experience like I had been afforded through my Â鶹Íø professors.

I wanted to study under instructors who cared about my artistic and intellectual development, and I felt I had found that at Friends.

I had many experiences at Friends that helped me succeed in my role as a Scientist in Parks. Many of the classes I took such as Wildlife Interpretation and Public Speaking gave me opportunities to practice my skills in verbal sharing of knowledge.
